This man is Ramsay MacDonald (1866-1937),
a photo from his younger years,
who was secretary of the LRC [Labour
Representation Committee, forerunner
of the Labour Party], 1900-12, and treasurer
of the Labour Party 1912-24.
He was elected MP for Leicester in 1906
and became prime minister in 1924
