History-ontheweb is the most substantial AS/A2 Modern History resource with content
for teachers and students and practical study skills. 

The Study Centre for AS/A Modern History is a large body of integrated and linked
information (topic articles, core concepts, topic guides, study advice)
with a strong emphasis on up-to-date content by topic-specialist, UK university-based authors,
and down-to-earth study skills advice for advanced Modern  History students. 

A lot of this amazing resource is open access but the heart of the resource is the 
 Study Centre which comprises:

Access to the Study Centre and GCSE Resource bank is by password, gained by Licence.

The Study Centre (AS/A History) is divided into 8 topic areas which are
Nineteenth and twentieth-century British political, economic and social History (2 topic areas)
Nineteenth and twentieth-century German History (2 topic areas)
Nineteenth and twentieth-century Russian History (2 topic areas)
Nineteenth and twentieth-century Italian History
General and World (inc USA) History

The GCSE Resource bank includes:
GCSE teaching resources and GCSE student study skills advice.
Modern World/Modern European and World History (AQA, Edexcel and OCR) 86 articles.
British Social and Economic History (AQA, Edexcel and OCR) 56 articles.
Schools History Project (AQA, Edexcel and OCR) 35 articles.
The articles were commissioned for inclusion in new perspective, the leading AS/A2 Modern History journal, from topic specialists:
vocabulary and expression is carefully tuned to that level and accessible to GCSE Grade A to B or C pupils as well, of course, to teachers.
